THE SYNOPSIS OF PROMINENT & PROFILIC SOUND DOCTRINES OF THE BIBLE

Remember To Apply 2 Timothy 2: 15 To All Scriptural Studies!

THE DOCTRINE OF REPENTANCE
  • The Doctrine Of Repentance
To repent one must have experience “remorse” or be “Godly sorrowful” for their transgressions or sins.   The New Testament word for "repentance" is "metanoi" and it denotes a complete changing of ones mind and/or attitude.  Repentance is a linkage to the biblical scripture of Romans 12: 1 & 2 which denotes the word "tranformation."   During the process of forgiveness a person will diligently seek forgiveness from Yehovah-Yahweh through the module of "repentance" and if applicable, one must seek forgiveness from any other person(s) they may have sinned or transgress against.  Beside Mary Magdalene, the most conspicuous biblical character who displayed remorse and experienced forgiveness from Yehovah-Christ Jesus was the penitent thief on the cross.

The Command To Repent
Acts 17: 30  "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commanded all men everywhere to repent." (This also includes women).

2 Profound & Prolific Biblical Prayers For Repentance

Psalm 51: 1 - 8 “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving-kindness; according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.  Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.  For I acknowledge my transgressions and my sin is ever before me.”

Romans 10: 8 & 9 “But what saith it?  The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is, the word of faith, which we  preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved.”

Prominent Characters Of The Bible Who Repented
  • Yehovah-Yahweh - Genesis 6: 6 - 8
  • David - Psalm 51
  • Pharoah - Exodus 9: 27 - 35
  • The Princes & Kings Of Israel - 2 Chronicles 12: 6

THE DOCTRINE OF CONFESSION

  • The Doctrine Of Confession - The absentee of the biblical assertion and application of confession is equivalent to "faith without works is dead." The New Testament Greek Word for "confession" is "homologe" and it literally means to "to say the same thing" to admit, to agree with God, Yehovah-Yahweh that the transgression is sinful." Upon the application and assertion of the action-verb "confession" a person will ultimately be restored back to a relationship to his or her creator, Yehovah-Elohim! Once again, let us remember as we briefly scrutinized the word “forgiveness”it is the vehicle and/or method whereby one will receive salvation for their soul and the regeneration and/or restoration of their spirit back to its sovereign creator (Yehovah-Elohim)!
 THE DOCTRINE OF FORGIVENESS

  •  THE DOCTRINE OF FORGIVENESS

To be forgiven one must experience clemency or pardon.  However, to be divinely forgiven, “it is the act or the deed of being restored and/or forgiven for and from the remission of sin.  The major proxy (advocacy) that has been biblical orchestrated by Yehovah-Yahweh and The Divine Triune God-Head (God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Ghost) whereby one will experience forgiveness is through the complete and finished work of Yehovah-Christ Jesus on Calvaria’s Cross, also known as “the place of the skull.”
As we scrutinize the method of forgiveness; it is a two-fold process; process (1) giving and process (2) receiving and it necessitates two or more person(s); usually the victim and the penitent soul.  Conversely, the penitent soul can also be the recipient of one’s own forgiveness.  Yes, one must learn to forgive themselves!  Also, upon further scrutinizing of the word “forgiveness” the two principals that will chiefly and essentially initiate a person to seek forgiveness are the proxies called “acknowledgement and reflection.” Also, The word confession is the action-verb whereby forgiveness is stirred and acquired.

There are a few biblical lexicons (terminologies) for the word “forgiveness” Such words as: pity, compassion, mercy, kindness and/or leniency.  One of the most renown scriptures which heralds forgiveness is recorded in 2 Chronicles 7: 14, “If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land.”
In conclusion, the feat of forgiveness was and is a vital part of the crucifixion of Yehovah-Christ Jesus; it was one of his last 7 idioms He mentioned on Calvaria’s Cross; also known as “the place of the skull.”  Yehovah-Christ Jesus uttered, “father forgive them for they know not what they do.”  In retrospect of experiencing the forgiveness of “Yehovah-Christ Jesus and Yehovah-Yahweh” one will observe and experience the climax of the Holiness and Agapetos of the character and personage of Yehovah-Christ Jesus!
